By Karrington Clay
Every day, I remind myself of the skin that hugs me and the food that feeds me
I wiggle my toes and reach for the sky
My body is full of life
For each pump though my veins and rise of my chest
I remind myself I could have not been
But I am, so I will
For as long as the Earth is felt beneath my feet.
